Independent research confirms that patients with lower literacy, language barriers, or reduced confidence often experience worse engagement and outcomes. The  Patient Activation Measure (PAM) Validation Review (PubMed 38891154) shows that improving comprehension can directly reduce these disparities.  Adaptive Literacy Support ClearChart AI adapts each summary to match how a person naturally understands and prefers to receive health information.   • Note: This standard originates from decades of military policy requiring all instructions, manuals, and documents to be written at a level that is understandable to the broadest possible audience, including new recruits from diverse educational backgrounds.
