ClearChart.AI operates as a standalone, SMART on FHIR-enabled application that integrates seamlessly with Epic—but remains fully independent of MyChart's codebase or configuration. This architecture allows for faster deployment, greater flexibility, and simplified support—without altering Epic workflows. The app interprets clinical data, generates personalized summaries, and adapts over time through PAC (Patient Adaptive Communication), a learning engine that supports health equity, Patient Experience (PX), and communication safety.

  The app is activated when a new clinical event occurs—like the release of lab results, discharge summaries, or updated progress notes.
